What Are The Side Effects Of Using Seizure Medicines?

hi,my age is 29 i got seizure when i was 18year old i got 3 time in the same month then i consult with my doctor and started taking medicine,after 4 years i suddenly stop taking medicine without consulting doctor after 15 days i got again seizure,then till know iam taking the medicine,after that i have no problem with that.so totaly i got 4 times in 11 years.my question is did i want to take the medicine through out my life? and will cause any side effect to me?next month i got my marriage,does it affect my marriage life?
