General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the symptoms of confusion, short term memory and inability to comprehend or short attention span may be related to underlying ischemic changes in the cerebral circulation. The reversibility of any central nervous system insult depends upon the causative factors and its impact on the brain parenchyma as well as related structures.

It is the periodic follow up with expert neurologist which decides the future course of action after evaluation of latest MRI report and comparison with old ones.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
