What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of A Ruptured Eardrum?
Hi Dr. I am concerned that my daughter may have a ruptured ear drum . A child at school screamed very loudly into my child s ear and now she is complaining about her ear hurting really badly and is in tears. I am trying to get her into the doctors office. but haven t got a call back for an appointment. Can someone screaming in your ear burst your ear drum?

It may cause ear drum rupture. DO NOT put any ear drops, oil in the ear. Give her a analgesic, the pain will subside. Continue with analgesic twice daily till you get it checked.
