What Are The Signs Of A Stuck Syringe Needle In The Leg?
My daughter got vaccinated today she was for syringe in her leg she is 4 month now n she was shaking too much I told her legs but she was moving when she got injected I have a fear that God forbidden if needle breaks how we recognize it n what are symnols
It is understandable to be concerned but it is important to remember that these needles are made of stainless steel which is a very strong material and highly unlikely to break. If there is a foreign object like a needle in her leg however, there would be very intense pain.
Pain is expected after the immunization but if there is a foreign object, the pain would be prolonged (last more than 3 to 4 days) and severe. In addition there would be swelling and redness. An infection can also result from the presence of foreign object.
I hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Michelle Gibson James
