What Are The Suggestions To Stop Breakthrough Bleeding After Taking Loette?
I am 28 years old, 1.65 m tall and my weight is about 65-70 kg. i have only recently started yasmin pills, but changed to loette pills after i had circulation problems and pain in my calves. So i started with yasmin ( one packet only), had my 7 days break, got my withdrawal bleeding four or five days after the last pill and than continued with loette. After about another 7 days of taking the new pills ( loette) i have started to have breakthroughbleeding which has now lasted for almost a week and does not seem to slow down. Its sometime very little and a few hours later a lot of blood. Sometime red and sometime brown. What should i do? Any tips on how to stop this breakthroughbleeding? Or any idea how long do i have to expect it to last? Is it going to become worst if i skip the next 7 days break to delay my withdrawal bleeding?
Since you are experiencing breakthrough bleeding with the change of the medication also, I would ask you to consult your health care provider immediately for further help. You need styptics to reduce the bleeding and since you have already had circulation problems in the past, you should perhaps think of another mode of contraception. Do not self-medicate.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
