What Are The Symptom Of Scoliosis?

Hi, lately I ve noticed that my ribcage is more noticeable on my left side than my right. I have talked to some family and they said it could be due to scoliosis, is that true? Also just recently it has been tender to touch. Should I see a doctor? A physical therapist? If a doctor what kind? Or what do you think it could be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Scoliosis is a sideward bending of your spine. You have to get a full-spine X-ray to diagnose scoliosis. Consult a spine surgeon and he will direct you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
