Hello
I have a question concerning Spinocerebellar tract. My husband father is 60 years old, he is healthy without any symptomes, but his grandmother died
when she was 45 for this disease and brother of his father died when he was 23 years old, I know that there is 50 percentage of chance that his futher has this gene,
and if yes my husband has 50% of chance that he also has this gene. We know that there are some test, which can show whether he can be sick or not. Our problem is that we do not know
whether we should do this test, I am worry that if test show that he has this mutation, he will be very stress about this and I am afraid that this strees could activate the symptomes.
SO in my opinion is better to not know. The onlmy question is whether they are existing some drugs or some method to prevent this dicease??
