What Are The Symptoms And Treatment For Hormonal Imbalance?

Do I have hormone imbalance? Or is it something else? So I started my menstruel cycle when I was about 12 and it s been irregualr ever since- I would usually have it every few months. I ve also been experiencing some chest pains and headaches but I ve read online that it could just be caused by stress . I went to my doctor and told her about all my symptoms and she said that I might have hormonal imbalace. But could it really be hormonal imbalance? Or is to something else entirely? Is there a certain doctor I should go to to get myself checked out?

-Have you done any examination for your irregular menstrual cycle until now, for eg.; ultrasound of the pelvis, hormones such as FSH,LH, estradiol?
-Did you ever check your thyroid function?

-Have you ever been diagnosed with PCOS?
