What Are The Symptoms And Treatment For Hypothyroidism?
I have been using the Dr. Broda Barnes method of taking the Basal temperature for two mornings consecutively, once a fortnight to discover how much Armour Thyroid I need to take. I am currently up to 4grains per day but still my temperature will not reach normal and I still have symptoms of hypothyroidism. I come from a family with a history of this, both in my antecedents and my sisters and cousins as well as one of my three children. I have just increased the medication to 5 grains per day. May I have Dr. Shankdhar s advice please? Vivien . Email address is: YYYY@YYYY
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have hypothyroidism. Symptoms of hypothyroidism are cold intolerance, weight gain, dry skin, hair loss, fatigue etc. Armour should be taken for hypothyroidism but dosage should be set on the TSH level. So check your TSH level and set the dosage accordingly.
