What Are The Symptoms And Treatment For Hypothyroidism?

Background: I have hypothyroidism for which I take Armour Thyroid, blood levels are good. I also have dryness problems - eyes, mouth & throat. For the past couple of years my ears have itched a lot, was checked by an ENT doctor, everything looked okay at that time (couple years ago). About two months ago, I had several episodes of vertigo, including one that lasted for an hour, with vomiting. After each episode it felt as if I had a hangover (without the headache) for several hours. It was determined to be a salt crystal issue, it went away and hasn t happened again. Around that same time I noticed an occasional thump in my right ear, which eventually became like a tiny little drum roll - I can both feel and hear it. It stopped in my right ear but is now in my left ear and happening much more frequently, especially when I yawn or burp.

Hello:
Hi and thank you for asking on HCM!
I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows :
1.With regards to your symptoms, I can say that your symptoms are typicall for hypothyroid.
-I would like to know , in which dose you take Armour ?
-Which are the last lab test for Tsh , Ft3 &Ft4.?
About the symptoms of hypothyroid i can inform as:
-Increased cholesterol level.
-Fatigue-hair loss, dry hair, dray eyse, constipacion -couldnis,splitles, etc
2-You are concern about episodes of vertiligo.
-Hypothyroidism is associated with loss of hearing .The loss of hearing may cause vertiligo .
-Hypothyroidism can not only cause vertigo, but can worsen the symptoms of vertigo.
My advise is to chec for Meniers's desease and allso to chec the hormon thyroid levels.
You can consult with Otorinolaringologiest and Endocrinologies ,

Hope that i have been helpfull.
Kind Regars
