The symptoms of throat cancer are the following Abnormal (high-pitched) breathing sounds. Cough. Coughing up blood. Difficulty swallowing. Hoarseness that does not get better in 1 to 2 weeks. Neck or ear pain. Sore throat that does not get better in 1 to 2 weeks, even with antibiotics. Swelling or lumps in the neck.
It is important that he attends a cancer screening clinic in your place and then gets investigated in detail A pathology test called FNAC or biopsy might be required to know the cause of the lump in the neck.
Treatment for throat cancer is surgery in the early stages and combined with chemotherapy and radiation therapy. The survival in throat cancer is better than most other cancers if detected early. Please do not worry.
