What Are The Symptoms Of HIV Infection?

Hi there, I m a 20 year old male, I m really worried I may have gotten HIV, approximately two months ago I had unprotected sex, approximately a day or two after I had sores on my lips and noticed swollen Lymph nodes on either side of my neck and under my jaw, they are tender but not big enough to see, only to feel. I may also have swollen nodes in my groin but they are approximately the size of a pea if not smaller. One week ago I had a chest infection but didn t have a temperature, just cough and mucus however my Lymph nodes are unchanged. I am currently waiting for the three month mark to get tested but I would really appreciate your advice on my situation as I m really scared, what do you think the likely hood that my symptoms are HIV? Thank you for your time.

you ask about symptoms of hiv infection...but symptoms is not diagnostic for hiv....may be dizziness and fatigue ,nausea,fever,lymphadenopathy,recuurent chest infection but not diagnostic..symptoms you feel may be due to severe stress you have as hiv cause immunedefeciency but it is too early to say that as you just infected from 2 month ..the severe stage of hiv is aids stage and it occur after 5-10 years according to your immunity ..but now the only thing you should concentrate on is taking triple therapy of antiviral drugs and follow up investigations of hiv antibodies test and pcr test..both should be positive for diagnosis ..if you could send to us the tests results we may assure you...now try to get out your stress as it may kill you from fear.....just take treatment as the treatment effective in the early stage and may give clearance of hiv if you took it early
