hi, i wanna know that i had a physical relationship with my boyfriend but never had an intercourse....its 2 yrs we broke....i m anxious can i be hiv.....since my cbc iis absolutely fine. i have also undegone hiv test the time i broke up, 2 years back......is it possible or required to get it done again

Hello,HIV spreads through penetrative intercourse ,if your friends semen has come in contact with your vagina or an open wound and he is infected with HIV than there are possibilities of you getting the infection
Incubation period of HIV is 3 to 8 weeks that is from the time of contact to blood test being positive takes 3 to 8 weeks ,virus can remain in the body in inactive form for years so it is advisable to get the test done again
