Dear sir, I had sexual contact with a sex worker with use one contom one year back,iam not feel any symdoms or sings for this duration and until now i never check hiv test, have any problem, i want to know if affected hiv how long can get first symdoms, and what is the starting symdoms.

Hi, symptoms can be appear at any time. Symptoms of hiv are persistent fever, chronic diarrhoea, weight loss, weaknesses,lymphadenopathy frequent infection etc. You should go for confirmatory hiv testing once. You can go with p24 antigen and hiv 1 and 2 antibodies combo test.
