Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Are The Symptoms Of Sjogren’s Syndrome And Fibromyalgia?
I have had chest pain for 3 days, on my left side that is really just discomfort and worse when I take a deep breath. I have had a cold where I had a fever of 100.2, disorientation, fatigue, stuffy nose, yellow mucus, stiffness and body aches. I m assuming I have the flu, but with the chest pain I wondered if I had an infection. The pain does radiate to other parts of the body, but I also have Sjogrens Syndrome and Fibromyaglia so it s hard to determine what is new and what is part of those issues.
General & Family Physician, Dr. Sirisha's Response
In your case chest discomfort that is aggravating with deep breathing suggests some infection related to pleura the lining of lungs .as fever is also there you need to go for chest X ray ap view to visualise your lungs and depending on that further treatment can be planned i mean antibiotics. sjogrens syndrome usually causes dryness in eyes and mouth and in fibromyalgia the muscle pain will be related to time of the day, fatigue, tension, inactivity, changes in the weather, cold or drafty conditions, overexertion, hormonal fluctuations , stress, depression, or other emotional factors. It is better you consult a qualified physician and get treated.
