Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my daughter is 23 and collapsed again hit her head, she fainted, I really after reading think she had a small siezure, Shes been to DHL to cardiology and they found nothing wrong with her heart except prolonged qt wave syndrome, yikes, Now the wee las has a black eye from landing on the vaccum. She fainted 4 times before over the course of 5 years.
I read your query and I understand your concern. I think your daughter is suffering from prolonged qt wave. In this case I think it is congenital and it gives the fainting and seizure. The goal of treatment is either to prevent the long QT heart from ever beating out of control or to prevent sudden death. Your doctor will discuss with you the most appropriate treatment options for your condition based on your symptoms, your type of long QT syndrome, and your risk of fainting or sudden cardiac arrest.
Hope my answer was helpful, if yes, vote helpful. Thank you for the query.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka ( general and family physician ).
