What Are The Symptoms Of A Urinary Tract Infection?

I had unprotected sex the other day, and ever since I have had a slight burning sensation nothing bad. But it s mostly that I can t hold my pee in, and I got often. I have also noticed more discharge, it has gone away a little bit but it is white, goey and sticky. Is this a UTI, or a yeast infection?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Burning during micturition is most commonly associated with the infection.
Burning during urination and frequency in absence of discharge are symptoms of the lower urinary tract infections
But discharge may be associated with to the vaginal infection.
I think it could be lowe UTI plus vaginal infection
I would suggests consult the gynecologist and undergo urine test and vaginal swab test to rule out the above causes.
Doctor will give following advises:
Tablet septran, Tablet nitrozolium and tablet pyridium
Vaginal suppository of clingen
Syrup cital- 2 tablespoon in half glass of water three times per day.
Maintain proper pelvic hygiene by using V-vaginal plus wash.
Drink plenty of water and fruit juice of cranberry, orange and pineapple.
Hope this may help you
