What Are The Symptoms Of Bipolar Disorder?

I don t know if I am bipolar or have a personality disorder. I am married and have had 2 children 9 years apart by the same man. I am handling the household finances and am on the verge the 2nd time of losing our home and filing bankruptcy. My husbands father has given us in gift money almost 1/2 million dollars and I cannot control myself on the family finances. I spend money and expect to have more after I spend what I have been given. I don t pay the house payments because the money is gone when the house payment is due. JUST LEARNED BY GOING TO THE NEXT PAGE THAT YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE ME SPEND MORE MONEY.

Hi,

Overspending of money does not necessarily indicate that you are bipolar but can indicate that you have issues with money.

They are some persons that are addicted to shopping or spending money.

It is an addiction and can be considered an illness that requires counselling.

In some addictions, if severe and not controlled by counselling alone, a very short period of medication, to control the compulsion, may help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
