I went to Dr yesterday. Granddaughter has pink eye. I have a UTI, but Dr said no to conjunctivitis. My conjunctiva is blood red, wake up with matted eyes, and feels like there s something in both. Started in L, then R, now both. Am taking Macrobid. Is correlation between these two real?

Most of the time you may not need treatment at all especially if it is adenoviral origin. usualy passes after 2-3 days. i advece you to take topical Antibiotics-steroids for 4-5 days ( eye drops- tobradex). It has no relation with the medication you are using.
