What Are The Symptoms Of Diabetes?

I am a 25-year old female, and from my family history, my maternal grandfather suffered from severe diabetes. This past month, my work schedule changed and has disrupted my routine to the extent that I only have about 2 meals (of mostly carbs) and five hours of sleep a day. Just earlier this week, I noticed I was constantly thirsty - no matter how much water I drink, the back of my throat always dry. I also urinate a lot more frequently (perhaps due to the excessive intake of water), and am always tired. Could this lifestyle be a sign of diabetes at somebody my age? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Hello
In subjects with typical complains of the disease such as FREQUENCY OF URINE, INCREASED THIRST, INCREASED APPETITE with WEIGHT LOSS, GLYCOSURIA ( passing of glucose in urine ) a single sample of blood , fasting or random if in the diabetic range , is sufficient for diagnosis. Whole blood glucose
Fasting 2 hours later
Venous >120 mg /dl >180
Capillary >120 mg/dl >200
Plasma glucose:
Venous >140 mg/dl >200 mg/dl
Capillary > 140 mg/dl >220 mg/dl.
So get in these examination and note down these above mentioned symptoms and you will find out whether you are a diabetic or non-diabetic.
Hope this will help you.
