I have a question about a reserved form of Dissociative Personality disorder. I am writing a story and can t find any information on what I am planning on trying to write, and am wondering if it would be a real thing, so here it is: I have this character who, when in live combat, becomes very Assertive, in Command, and has great coordination skills. However, as soon as she is outside of combat, she is rather clumsy and uncoordinated, she becomes shy and unassertive, and gets embarrassed easily. But, she remembers doing both things: with both situations she remembers doing it on purpose, so it s not as if her body is being taken over by a separate personality, it s like she simply automatically reacts to the situation. But when she is outside of combat, she actually cannot be assertive, nor coordinated, or anything like that. So it s like it s two differently people, but both are completely her. Like I had stated above, I have been searching for an answer, and sadly do not personally know any Doctor that has extensive knowledge of psychological disorders.
