Hi, I had sexual intercourse over three months ago. I'm starting to have itching around my vultra. I've had an increase in vaginal discharge, that is kinda of chunky and has a yellowish tint. It doesn't burn when I urinate, but is it possible that I have Gonorrhea, or could it be a simple yeast infection?
Hi, Welcome to HCM. Gonorrhea usually remains asymptomatic in women. The discharge would be pus (purulent) like not copious unless it is mixed with some other infection. A smear from the discharge would confirm or rule out the same. If the urethra is not involved there might not be burning sensation during urination.Yeast infection the discharge will be more white and curdy in nature or watery with marked itching. DR S.murugan
