I have a question concerning the fact that the doctors I have seen see the symptoms of hypothyroidism, weight gain, fatigue, muscle aches and pains, etc, yet they test me for TSH and because that comes back barely within range, they do not go any further. They say I look fine. I have gone from 165 to 220 in the past 7 years. I can t seem to exercise without being laid up for days on end due to aches throughout my body. There has to be something wrong.
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Symptoms of hypothyroidism are weight gain, cold intolerance, fatigue, dry skin, hair loss etc. Your TSH is normal. If you still have any doubts then you should go for repeat TSH with T3 and T4 level. It will give you exact idea. Many a time symptoms looks like hypothyroidism but it can be due to some other reason so go for repeat thyroid test and plan accordingly.
