what are the symptoms of IBS? My son s CBC is somewhat elevated , came back the second time at 12.7 plus his absolute neutrophils went from 5336 to 800.1. Could he have an inflammation in his intestinal track ? He has bloating, gas, constipation or diarrhea, stomach pain. Thank you

The main symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome consists of diarrhea, constipation, excess gas production and bloating. The syndrome needs medical diagnosis after actual physical examination and few investigations to know basic cause. Please consult a gastroenterologist.
