What Are The Symptoms Of Kidney Stones In The Urinary Tract?
What does it feel like when a kidney stone is stuck in the urinary tract after the bladder in a female? I ve had pain for a few days now that I first thought was a UTI but seems more painful and serious now. I m 18 years old and have had kidney stones for 5 years now but never felt something like this. If there s any way to let me know or give me an idea if a kidney stones is stuck in the ureter that would be much appreciated
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern... Kidney stones when smaller in size may not cause any symptoms for years. But following symptoms may present in some cases. Some of these symptoms could also be present in urinary tract infection as well 1. Sudden, severe pain in lower abdomen or sides of back that gets worse in waves. 2. Sudden urinary continence, if a stones get passed through ureter & has caused blockage of the urethra. 3. Haematuria or blood in urine is present when a stone get passed causing injury to urinary tract. 4. Frequent and painful urination, which may occur when the stone is in the ureter or after the stone has left the bladder and is in the urethra.
You are advised to consult a urologist Hope this information helps
