Hi,
I have gone through your query & understand your concern.
Smoking is supposed to cause irregular & prolonged bleeding, Obesity can bring about menstrual disorders & vise a varsa.IN obesity irregular periods -with scanty or heavy periods is observed, the basic cause being hormonal pattern of the patient.
Smoking is also found to cause premature menopause.
From whatever cause, the excessive bleeding needs to be treated ,for it may lead to weakness.
Hormonal assay along with thyroid function tests, USG abdomen would throw some light on cause-- to allow a specific treatment.
You have to consult a gynecologist for getting your problem solved on above lines.
