What Are The Symptoms Of Menopause?

Last month I had this weird tenderness sensation towards the side of my armpit (closer to the upper breast).I tried to feel to see if there were any lumps and I thought I could feel a bit of swelling. Doctor could not feel any lumps whatsoever. He said where the tenderness was there were no lymph glands as the lymph glands are directly underneath my armpit not to the side. Then the day my period started the tenderness feeling went away completely. Then about 7 days after my period finished I start to feel that tenderness feeling again but not as bad. Doctor said that he will get a mamogram done at my next appt which is not until mid March. I'm worried that it m ay be breast cancer. I am a 50year old woman and so far no signs of menopause
