How can I tell if I have pneumonia or just severe allergies, or something else? I have coughing, wheezing. If I try to run (I am a marathon runner), I start to wheeze and gurgle a few miles into my training. I did cough up yellow mucus for a couple of days, now I have hardly any mucus and it is white. I have no fever, headache or fatigue. The pollen count is high in Utah right now and I have had allergic reactions in the past but not as severe as this year since I have reduced dairy and eaten more whole foods. I am 58 years old, 68 inches tall, weigh 145 pounds and am very rarely sick. Thank you.
