What Are The Symptoms Of Potential HIV?

Hi my name is xxxxx I am 26yrs old. My girlfriend is hiv positive but she is on antiretoviral drugs and her viral load is undetectable. Few weeks ago our condom broke during sex. Now I have a sore throat which subsided after taking some cold tablets. Now I have just stuffy nose. Should I be worried ? I tested 3months ago and was negative . I have my next test this month

Hello
HIV infection transmission depend on many factors :
Your condom broken down , this is a great risk.
Girl is on anti retroviral drugs and viral load is undetectable , NO chance of getting infection by you.
You developed cough , sore throat and common cold , these symptoms may be due to allergy or allergic bronchitis ,because once cured by common cold tablet , so not serious .
But in your case you should be careful because your girlfriend is an HIV infected patient .
As you mentioned that your test for HIV was NEGATIVE .
Fever, pharyngitis , lymphadenopathy, headache/retro-orbital pain( behind eyes), lethragy/arthralgias, malaise , anorexia/loss of weight , nausea/vomiting/diarrhea.
Erythematous maculopapular rashes.
Mucocutaneous ulceration ( in the mouth and on tongue) .
As all mentioned these symptoms may be symptoms of HIV , SO in future be careful .
