What Are The Symptoms Of Potential HIV?

Hey doctor

I had sex with a male for the first time. He kissed all of my body face all the way down. Then we gave each other oral but we didn't use a condom. He also sucked and spat my testicles but I'm worried because the right one had a small cut. He also rimmed me as I also revise anal sex from him he used a condom. He said he was clean. Is it possible for me to get hiv. I'm really scared. Since it was my first time.

Hello
Let me explain about sucking and spitting on testicles and also about oral sex.
Although HIV can be isolated from saliva of infected individual but there is no convincing evidence that saliva can transmit HIV infection either by kissing or by oral sex . Because saliva contains endogenous antiviral factors.
So sucking of testicles or spitting on the testicles or oral sex don't develops HIV infection.
As you mentioned that there was a cut on the right testicle but this is also not a cause of concern because saliva or sputum also contains antiviral properties .
The main cause of concern is anal sex although it was with condom but if outer layer of condom was contaminated with seminal secretion of that person then it is a cause of concern if your partner was HIV infected .
The best way is to get blood for rapid nucleic acid amplification ( p24 ) pcr rna 2 weeks after initial contact .
Hope this will help you.
