What Are The Symptoms Of Pregnancy ?

Hi Dr Samuel ..
Ive been trying to get pregnant for some time now and for the last few days ive been feeling very hot in the face and also very red looking on my cheeks and forehead .. Im just wondering could this be a pregnancy symptom ? I have never experienced this before . My period is due in about 4 days time ..

Hello ma'am and welcome.

What you are experiencing are called hot flashes. These are commonly observed with hormonal changes, but are not a definitive sign of pregnancy. I would thus recommend you to conduct a home pregnancy test on or after the second day of a missed period to confirm/rule out pregnancy (if at all you experience a delay in your period).
