Depo-shot starts working within 24 hours of the first shot if injected within 5 days of beginning a period.

For typical users, approx 3 out of every 100 women using Depo-shot will experience an accidental pregnancy in the first year.

In this case, your chance of pregnancy is LOW. However, it needs to be confirmed by doing one home pregnancy test if you miss next due date. It is too early to confirm pregnancy.

Common symptoms of pregnancy:

a) Missed period, nausea, vomiting, tender and swollen breast.

b) Increased frequency of urination, fatigue, food craving.

c) Slight vaginal spotting, cramping, mood swing, constipation etc.

I think that above clinical pictures are side effects of Depo-Shot, which are quite common among first-time user. Maintain genital hygiene.
