What Are The Symptoms Of Swollen Prostate?

HI

I have been suffering from this painfull stinging sensation on and off for 2 months. I have been to see my doctor and he gave me trimethoprin 20mg tablets to be taken twice a day foe one week.

my supply is about to run out without any aparant easing of the problem, i am taking co codamol for the pain and this helps a little but not for long.

My doctor suggested i may have an enlarged or swollen prostate.

Any ideas?

a)Hesitancy during urination
b)Fever
c)Chills

I would advise you to get an Ultrasound Whole Abdomen, which would clearly state if your prostate is enlarged or not.
