What Are The Symptoms Of Tourette's Syndrome?

I think my younger brother may have torrettes or OCD, he has obsessive ticks which he repeats, in the form of flicking his hands about etc. I have told my mum i don't think this is normal and think he needs to see a doctor but she doesn't seem to listen.
