What Are The Symptoms Of Transient Ischemic Attack?

I don t know if my husband has had a TIA. Several hours ago he complained about not being able to walk properly. He said if he concentrated and walked forcibly he felt in control but if he just tried to walk normally it was awkward and out of control. He has now gone to bed and is sleeping soundly. The symptoms had subsided somewhat over the evening. Should I be waking him and taking him to the hospital?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
If he is having any risk factors like hypertension or diabetes or dyslipidemia or heart diseases then you may should definitely take him to hospital.
If he is not having any such disease then no need to worry much.
Most common symptom of TIA is momentary loss of consciousness, black out, falling down etc.
Since allergic these symptoms are absent in his case, no need to worry for TIA.
But if his symptoms are become more frequent then also consult doctor.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your husband. Thanks.
