Hello Doctor My Widal test report is as below Salmonella typhi O (TO) Negative Salmonella typhi H(TH) Positive (1.320) S.P.B is Negative S.P.A is Negative Please describe report and let me know if it is typhide , and what should be prescription and advice for that. Thanks jagjit singh

Widal test is a test used to diagnose typhoid fever. The rising titres of O and H antigen will helps to diagnose typhoid fever.

This test helps to diagnose typhoid fever during second week of fever. Blood culture and stool culture are used to diagnose typhoid fever.

The rising titres of widal test like 1:160, 1:320 and 1:640 along with the symptoms helps to diagnose typhoid fever.
