Hi,
Walking
pneumonia is an informal term for pneumonia that isn't severe enough to require bed rest or hospitalization.
You may feel like you have a cold. The symptoms are generally so mild that you don't feel you need to stay home from work or school, so you are out walking around.
Symptoms generally start 15 to 25 days after you’re exposed to
mycoplasma and slowly worsen over two to four days.
You might have
chest pain, cough, mild flu-like symptoms,
sore throat, headache, tiredness.
Some people with walking pneumonia may also have an
ear infection, anaemia, or a skin rash.
Even if you've had flu recently, you may have walking pneumonia as symptoms start after more than two weeks after you are exposed to mycoplasma.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
