What Are The Symptoms That An Abortion Was Successful?

I took ipill after a night s sex 13 days later I tested positive ,I was given some pills by the doctor to dissolve under my tongue ,two in the afternoon and two at night,I had little cramps ,and at 5 am I had diarrhea and also noticed a clot of blood as I cleaned myself I also had a little bleeding just like the one I get on the last day of the period brown light watery,next day I went back and the doctor gave me more pills ,I dissolved two under the tongue and one inside my vagina I had diarrhea the whole day but no bleeding,its two days now i don t feel any pain no bleeding,could the abortion have been a success?

Hi,

Based on your description, it appears that medications and doses taken is fine. But it is doubtful that the abortion process is complete as you should have got bleeding just like your periods or sometimes little more than that following the intake of pills within about 24 hours. Instead, you are getting its side effects and having diarrhoea.

However, kindly know the status of the pregnancy by taking an ultrasound scan and then consult Obstetrician with the report for clinical correlation and appropriate management.
