What Are The Symptoms To Look Out For Ear Infection In A Baby?
I always wipe and clean a little inside the canal of my infant boy after bathing.. Today I did the same after his bath but by mistake it went a little more in and he cried out loud, and stopes after some time... I checked if there is any bleeding coming out but nothing was there?? I am worries as to has something happened and what symptoms do I look for??. PLEASE HELP
Hi, thanks for your query. In myopinion, you might have slightly injured the ear canal .hope you have not injured the ear drum. If the injury is severe then the baby will have pain and cry because of pain holding the ears. If it is so I would suggest you to give paracetamol syrup 2.5 ml . If pain continues consult with the doctor. You cannot see the inside of the ear canal, it has to examined by a specialist only using otoscope or microscope. Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
