What Are The Tests That Diagnose Pancreatitis?

I had a pancreatic attack - After reading this article it has scared me- I had all of 10 Pancreatitis signs. I never went to the hospital- I suffered with just a sip of water and could eat no food. I lost 40 lbs over 3 months, felt like I was dying. My gastro Dr. did an endoscope and diagnosed me with GERDS. Ignoring my symptoms and weight loss. I m still not 100% and have symptoms off and on. It s been 18 months since this began. Is there a blood test that can confirm Pancreatitis?
