What Are The Tests To Be Taken To Confirm Pregnancy?
Hi, the last time I had sex was sept time and I m on the pill. I took a pregnancy test early jan & it came up negative almost straight away. I have not missed my period as it s controlled by my pill & all seems the same but on the pregnancy test it tells you to take the test so many days after a missed period. But if I have not missed one when do I take it? My stomach feels bloated although I am exercising now, I don t know if I am being paranoid or if something could be wrong. Going to the doctors is a struggle as I work long hours aswell. If I get a few more home tests when is the most accurate time to take it? Or which is a good test for my possible stage of pregmancy?

I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.
The pregnancy test comes positive 7 days after missed period. Also if you have had a normal period irrespective of pills, there is no chance of pregnancy.
If there is a pregnancy, even pills will not be able to induce periods. So if periods are there, pregnancy is ruled out.
