What Are The Tests To Diagnose Thyroid Problems?
what tests should my doctor have done to diagnose a thyroid problem I am 78 years old and have had thyroid nodules for years but my problems have become severe and am afraid that my doctor wont take me seriously. I am a retired nurse and that seems to bother them.

Well there are many test for thyroid problem throat swab test , vital culture test and physical examination . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may examine with the help of laryngoscope and may also order CT scan . For now do warm saline rinses , do not eat cold food or drink cold beverages . Also take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
