What Are The Tine Red Spots On Neck Of The Uterus?

Had a smear today. Dr. said all looked normal except 3 tiny red spots on neck of the uterus - not on the opening of uterus - just slightly to one side of neck of uterus. What could these be?Age 48, 5' 4", 9.5 stone. No uterus problems before. Recent cyst on both ovaries at the same time, but recent follow up scan showed these dispersed and ovaries are healthy and normal now.
