What Are The Treatments For Breathing Difficulty And Blockage In Throat?

I am 40 yrs male, i am unable to sleep in the night as i have difficulty in breathing, my throat is blocked. This is happening from last 3 nights. If i fall asleep also suddenly i get up with breathlessness and some sweat on my face and neck. From past 2 months i have also chocked and got up from sleep, some liquid gets in my wind pipe i start gasping to regain my breath, this has happened about 4 to 5 times. At times i get the feeling that u might die. Please advice me what is this condition and if there is any cure for it.
In reference to your query regarding difficulty in breathing, I would like to tell you that if you are having difficulty in sleeping only due to respiratory obstruction this indicates towards sleep apnoea, which may be managed by C-Pap or surgery as defect found in upper air way by physical examination by your ENT surgeon.
On the otherhand if you feel respiratory obstruction in day time as well when you are not sleeping this favours for some local cause at laryngeal inlet like-
These all above may be rule out by examination of larynx (Indirecr and Direct Laryngoscopy), for this you have to consult your ENT doctor. Respiratory obstructive diseases are may be life threatening therefore it should be manage as early as possible.
