What Are The Treatments For Clotting And Bleeding After Inserting Implanon?

Hi I had implanon inserted in aug 2013 and since the insertion I have suffered from small clotting and constant/unpredictable bleeding. It s making me feel very self conscious, emotional and is affecting my long term relationship. Are there any treatments?

Hi there thanks for posting your query at HCM
From your explanation that implanon that is a birth control device containing mainly progesterone and that has not really suited YOU . AS POER THE COMPLAINS REPOTED RHEY ARE ALL THJE SIDE EFFECT THAT IF OCCUR MUST BE TREPORTEDF TO YOUR HEALTHCARE PROVIDER AND IMMEDIATE REMOVAL OF THE DEVICE before any complication can occur.
I advice you seek come other method of birth control like oral contraceptive pills , some intrauterine device like mirena or DMPA injections
Hope you are satisfied
