I am non smoker, coughing is not my problem, no sputum I had noticed for the last ten years. In the medical report, the report of blood and urine are abolutely normal. Blood group B+, Haemoglobin 14.00, RBS 121, Creatine 0.8. Reason shown for medical unfitness...Tuberculosis ? Kindly advise me what treatement and measures have to be taken by me to enable me to be medically fit for travelling to abroad (gulf countries). From Mohammad Mukhtar, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello Mr. Mohammad .
The calcification shown ( or visible ) in the apex of lung of right side is due to old healed tubercular lesions .
These calcification will remains in X ray forever and in my opinion no body can remove these lesions ( old healed scar i.e calcification).
As you mentioned that now your hemoglobin, serum creatinine , rbcs, all are absolutely normal .
I don't know the exact rule of immigration for foreign country.
However you can say that these are old healed lesion and now you are free from tuberculosis . For this you can approach a medical board of doctors and get a certificate from this board that you are at present free from tuberculosis .
Good luck .
