What Are The Uses And Side Effects Of Amlodipine Dose?

I am 30 years old male and take coveram 10/5 for high blood pressure and proteinuria. My bp is usually 125/75 when measured at home. I'm regular weight and have started exercising more in last 12 months. I'm a pretty light drinker also.

I am concerned about the amlodipine I am taking as there seems to be some debate in journals about long term effects, oedema, and it's suitability for a person with hypertension and proteinuria. Can you give me some questions to ask my doctor next time I see him?
