What Are The Uses And Side Effects Of Aveda Invati?

I'm a 69 year old woman. I have curly hair, and it was always on the thick side. Well, the last two years it has been thinning and now you can see my scalp!! My hair dresser recommended Aveda Invati which I have been using. It costs me over a hundred dollars for the complete set. I have been using it for five weeks and I do not see any improvement. HELP.
