General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Regestrone contains Norethistoron which is synthetic analogue of Progesterone. In case of PCOD and anovulatory cycle, Usually doctors prescribe it from 14th day of menstrual cycle to 28th day and then stop it suddenly. So that blood progesterone level drops down suddenly and menstrual bleeding starts.
In your case you should consult your treating physician so he/she may prolong the treatment for few more months or change the line of treatment.
Taking Regestrone without doctor's consultation is not recommended.

Thanks & Take Care,
Dr. Suraj D.
