What Are The Uses And Side Effects Of Birth Control Merina?
ok i have the birthcontrol merina. merina does 2 things, thins out the linning of the uterus, to prevent implantation, and thickens up the mucus, creating a sort of plug. is it possible to loose that "mucus plug" and concieve, but then miscarry because of the thinner utures lining?
Mirena is used to prevent pregnancy. It should be removed after 5 years as the effectiveness may get reduced. Mirena is 99% effective, but pregnancy occurs rarely. Ectopic pregnancy has been reported in rare cases.
Even if the mucus plug is removed, sperms generally fail to travel up to the fallopian tube. Thinner uterine lining causes implantation difficult & hence rare chance for getting pregnant. However, miscarriage is possible. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an OBGYN.
